How many loans do we get in a match day squad? I’m wondering if we’ll be holding out a squad spot or two for a fairly premium Premier League development loan(s) (pending surplus players leaving).
Similar to when Doyle went to Sheff Utd the first time round, or Hutchinson to Ipswich.
City have just signed Sverre Halseth Nypan and reports are Pep is looking to work out a good loan for him. He’s very young and I’m expect he’ll be sent to the continent, but he strikes me as the kind of profile we might be able to attract from the top of the league. Particularly as we’re one of the only clubs left in the championship that prioritise possession.
