Man United receive £15m offer for exiled ace, could finally close infamous chapter

0 39

Manchester United are struggling to offload their out-of-favour players this summer.

Jadon Sancho is at the top of that unwanted list, but there has been some interest from Italian giants Juventus.

It was revealed last week that the Bianconeri had offered £8.6 million plus £4.3m in add-ons to Man United for Sancho.

Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla has now claimed that Juventus have submitted a proposal worth £15m to the Red Devils.

While the bonus structure remains unclear, the revised bid is clearly a step up from their earlier offer.

Despite having just one year remaining in his deal at Old Trafford, United want around £20m-£25m to sanction his exit.

United already banked £5m in compensation from Chelsea after the Blues opted not to make Sancho’s loan permanent.

The 25-year-old spent the last campaign on loan with the Blues but failed to spark a revival in what has become a steadily declining career.

The London outfit offered Sancho a permanent stay at Stamford Bridge, but only at reduced wages.

He declined their proposal and has now returned to United.

Sancho is one of five senior players who have been told to stay away from team training under manager Ruben Amorim.

Marcus Rashford, Antony, Alejandro Garnacho, and Tyrell Malacia have also been sidelined from first-team activities as part of United’s ongoing squad overhaul.

We believe United must accept the £15m offer from Juventus and close the infamous Sancho chapter once and for all.

Offloading the winger would also trim their inflated wage bill, with Sancho currently pocketing a staggering £250,000 per week.
