Slow moving Milan risk losing Brown and Guerra
Milan seem to have missed out on Javi Guerra to Manchester United and risk doing the same with Archie Brown, who is close to Fenerbahce.
According to Rossoneri transfer expert Daniele Longo, Valencia midfielder Guerra was Plan B to Ardon Jashari of Club Brugge, but the wait to get that deal over the line saw the Spain international lean towards Manchester United instead.
Pressure on Milan to get moves done faster
A lack of speed in their transfer operations has been a criticism aimed repeatedly at the Diavolo, even after they finally appointed director of sport Igli Tare.
Now Belgian transfer pundit Sacha Tavolieri warns that it could be costly once again, because while there is indeed interest in Brown, they are a bit late.
That’s because KAA Gent accepted the €8m offer from Fenerbahce and the player agreed terms on a four-year contract.
Tare and Milan stepped in over the last 24 hours and they now must race against time to make a firm proposal or see Brown complete the move to Turkey.
MilanNews.it point out they aren’t even the only ones chasing Brown, with Wolverhampton Wanderers also in the race.
