Report Inter tried to steal Jashari from under noses of Milan
During today’s meeting with Club Brugge directors, there are reports in Belgium that Inter tried to offer Aleksandar Stankovic plus €30m for Milan target Ardon Jashari, or do a deal for Joel Ordonez.
It is confirmed that two Club Brugge chiefs were in Milan this afternoon and they kept tight-lipped when leaving the Inter headquarters in the city.
The real reason for the encounter was to ask after youth team midfielder Stankovic, as Inter are prepared to sell him, as long as they retain a buy-back option.
Inter and Milan both pushing for Jashari transfer
Now Belgian transfer pundit Sacha Tavolieri claims that in the same encounter, Inter tried to snatch a primary transfer target from under the noses of rivals Milan.
This was by offering Stankovic plus €30m in cash to steal away Jashari.
However, the attempt was doomed to failure, partly because Club Brugge are trying not to sell Jashari at all, but also as the player is a childhood Milan supporter and only wants the Rossoneri.
The same source also suggests that Inter tried another approach, which was to offer Stankovic plus €22m in exchange for Club Brugge’s Ecuador international defender Ordonez.
