Red Sox Hit Three Home Runs In Monster Week Win Over Rockies
The Red Sox defeated the Colorado Rockies late Monday night, bringing their winning streak back to Boston in a 9-3 win. Roman Anthony homered for the first time at Fenway Park in the fifth inning to make it 5-1, and the Red Sox offense did not stop there.
Ceddanne Rafaela and Romy Gonzalez both homered in the eighth inning; it was Rafaela’s third home run in as many games, and Gonzalez tied Mike Trout for the longest home run at Fenway Park this season with a 454 foot bomb.
It was Richard Fitts’ first career win.
