Obviously Chris Davies is a good coach so I am not by any means tipping him to fail. I thought when we went up the aim of this year would be to have a solid mid table season and build towards playoffs within 3 years. However, with the signings we are making it is clear that Knighthead are looking to go up this season or at least finish in or around the playoffs. So with that being said, there is now quite a lot of pressure on Davies. I think his style of football is very good, it obviously broke records last year and would be transferrable to the prem. Personally as long as things aren’t going absolutely disastrously I think Davies has earned the right to be given the chance to turn anything around if we have a slow start or a bad patch. Unfortunately modern football is ever increasingly impatient with managers, with our owners having invested what they have there is a minimum they will be expecting. If it falls below this they may look to change it up. What do others think? Say at Christmas we are 14th and are 10+ points off playoffs or we have gone 8 games without a win, would his job be under pressure? Genuinely interested what people think.
