Raspadori targeted as part of total Atalanta revamp of attack

0 13

Giacomo Raspadori is a prime target for Atalanta as part of a complete revamp of their attack, if Ademola Lookman, Mateo Retegui and El Bilal Toure are all sold.

La Dea’s interest in the Italy international goes back a long way and an attempt to poach him had already been rejected twice over the last season.

Now the Partenopei have brought in reinforcements for the attack and plan to add more, while Raspadori is also eager to get more regular playing time elsewhere.

It means there is more margin for this move to actually go through, especially if Atalanta have a complete clear-out of their attack.

Raspadori sign of brand new Atalanta vision

Lookman is expected to move on following interest from Arsenal, Liverpool and Atletico Madrid, with Retegui in negotiations for a transfer to Al-Qadsiah at €60m.

El Bilal Toure is also on his way out after the loan at VfB Stuttgart, and while there is interest from Olympique Marseille, the asking price is at least €18m.

That’s a minimum, considering he cost €30m only in 2023 from UD Almeria.

If those all go through, then Atalanta can have a tidy sum to reinvest for new coach Ivan Juric, picking up at least two from Raspadori, Udinese’s Lorenzo Lucca and RB Salzburg talent Adam Daghim.
