Inside The Web – digital programme trial

QUEEN’S PARK FC will debut our new look all-black third kit for the visit of Celtic in tonight’s fourth and final friendly of pre-season.

However the strip with sand-gold trim is not the only new addition on show at The city Stadium.

Supporters will also be able to access a trial version of our new digital matchday programme.

Produced in association with Youth Football Scotland and Swipebooks, ‘Inside The Web’ is the ideal match companion, designed specifically for mobile and smartphone.

Featuring stats, club news, interactive quiz and man of the match poll we hope this trial will develop throughout the season as your go-to guide to visiting The city Stadium and as a key element of the club’s ongoing fan engagement strategy.

Head of commercial at Queen’s Park, Kieran Koszary said: “Our new digital programme has been in development and discussion for several months and we are delighted with tonight’s trial release to co-incide with the home friendly match with Celtic.

“Fan feedback told us a matchday programme was missed when production of the printed product ended a couple of years ago.

“David Oliver, who joined the club in March as media and communications manager, was very keen to restore a club programme and working together with commercial partners we we believe this fantastic first edition, produced in association with YFS and Swipebooks, will do that.

“Thanks also must go to our fantastic sponsors who have continued to back the club and the project.”

David Oliver added: “Working within the new fan engagement strategy we hope this new addition to the matchday experience is a popular one with Queen’s Park supporters both attending the game and watching from afar.

“Thanks also to Swipebooks by Youth Football Scotland for their work on the trial version and hopefully it is well supported and can be the first of many this season.”
