Genoa double deal for Tengstedt and Real Madrid talent
Genoa are very busy on the transfer market, as today they reportedly agreed terms for Benfica striker Casper Tengstedt and Real Madrid talent Rafael Obrador.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the deal has been struck with Benfica to sign Tengstedt on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season.
It would represent a return to Serie A for the 25-year-old, who spent the 2024-25 campaign at Hellas Verona.
He managed to score six goals with two assists in only 25 Serie A appearances for Hellas, as his experience was affected by injuries.
Genoa picking up Tengstedt and Obrador
Meanwhile, both Sky Sport Italia and transfer pundit Fabrizio Romano maintain that Genoa have shaken hands with Real Madrid for Obrador.
The left-back is 21 years old and a product of the Real Madrid youth academy.
It is set to be a permanent transfer, but the Merengues are keeping a buy-back clause on the player as well as a large cut of the sell-on fee.
He is seen as the ideal heir to Honest Ahanor, who is heading to Atalanta for €20m.
