Krstovic drops Leeds United snub hint as he wants Serie A stay
Lecce striker Nikola Krstovic is reportedly not eager to join Leeds United, so prefers to wait for an Italian offer, dropping a hint by wearing a Roma jersey.
The newly-promoted Premier League side had already secured Jaka Bijol from Udinese and made a bid for Krstovic too that was reportedly close to the asking price.
However, that was back on June 19 and there has still been no real progress on that score.
Krstovic in no hurry to accept Leeds United
According to transfer pundit Eleonora Trotta, this is because Krstovic wants to continue his career in Serie A and is waiting for someone to make him a proposal.
He also appeared to drop a hint today on social media, posting video of himself training wearing a Roma jersey.

With Eldor Shomurodov heading to Istanbul Basaksehir and Tammy Abraham sold to Besiktas, there are slots opening up in the Roma attack for someone like the Montenegro international.
Milan have also been linked with a possible offer for the 25-year-old who has been at Lecce since 2023.
