West Ham reject two Tottenham bids for Mohammed Kudus with clear instruction
West Ham United have now turned down another offer from Tottenham Hotspur for Mohammed Kudus and have told the North Londoners exactly how much they need to pay to get the deal done.
Over the past 24 hours, it has been widely reported that Tottenham are advancing on a deal for Kudus after identifying him as their top attacking target.
On Wednesday night, journalist Pete O’Rourke broke the news that Tottenham’s opening offer for Kudus had been turned down by West Ham as it fell short of what the Hammers are demanding.
According to a new update, the Lilywhites have now also had a second offer turned down for the versatile winger.
Tottenham’s offer is £10m short of Mohammed Kudus price tag
TBR Football have now claimed that Spurs had already had a £50m offer for the Ghana international turned down earlier in the transfer window.
The outlet states that over recent hours, the Lilywhites launched another offer for Kudus, which is believed to have been a fixed fee of £50m plus £5m in add-ons.
However, the London Stadium hierarchy have sent this back too, making it clear that any accepted offer must at least start with a six.
It is revealed that the Hammers have put a price tag of £65m on the 24-year-old, which they believe is reasonable, given that the player has a release clause of £84m.
Kudus is extremely keen on joining Spurs this summer
However, one factor could work in Spurs’ favour in the negotiations, with TBR Football stating that Kudus is now really keen on making the move to N17, with the winger seeing it as a great opportunity for his career.
Despite interest from other clubs, talks between Tottenham and West Ham are continuing, with the Lilywhites remaining the most advanced in a deal for the former Ajax man.
The outlet adds that the belief among the Spurs hierarchy is that Thomas Frank could turn Kudus into a star, given how he improved various attackers at Brentford.
