Serie A and Italian football mourns loss of Diogo Jota: Tributes and messages
Football Italia, Serie A and the world of Calcio joins the wider football community in mourning the loss of Liverpool and Portugal forward Diogo Jota, who has tragically died at the age of 28.
Diogo Jota and his brother Andre have died following a fatal road traffic accident in Spain, just 11 days after the Liverpool forward celebrated his wedding.

Serie A clubs express condolences after death of Diogo Jota
“The FIGC joins in the condolences of the family and the Portuguese Federation for the passing of Diogo Jota and his brother André Silva,” read a message from the Italian football federation.
The Lega Serie A also posted the following: “Lega Serie A expresses its deepest sorrow for the sudden passing of Diogo Jota and his brother, offering heartfelt condolences to their family and to Liverpool.”
“Juventus expresses its deepest condolences for the sudden passing of Diogo Jota, sharing sympathy to his family, loved ones and Liverpool,” read a post from Juventus.

“FC Internazionale Milano expresses its condolences and deep sorrow for the sudden passing of Liverpool and Portugal national team striker Diogo Jota and his brother Andre.
“The thoughts and affection of the entire Nerazzurri world goes out to the family of the footballers, to Liverpool, its supporters and to the Portuguese FA in such a tragic and difficult moment,” read a post by Inter.
Milan wrote: “AC Milan is deeply saddened by the tragic passing of Diogo Jota and his brother André Silva. Our heartfelt condolences go out to their family, friends, and all who are mourning. May they rest in peace.”

“AS Roma joins in mourning the tragic passing of Diogo Jota and his brother André. Our deepest condolences go out to their family, loved ones and everyone affected by this loss,” Roma wrote.
Napoli’s message read: “President Aurelio De Laurentiis, coach Antonio Conte, the management, the technical staff, the team, and all of SSC Napoli express deep sorrow for the sudden passing of Diogo Jota, extending heartfelt condolences to his family and to all of Liverpool.”
