Tottenham fans left split over rumoured yellow third kit featuring a retro twist
Tottenham fans are already voicing their opinions on a potential third kit, and it is the bold yellow design with a retro twist that has got people talking.
Tottenham Hotspur only just released their new home strip, and fans have made their feelings clear, with some labelling it as “class”, while others simply are not big fans.
The away kit, however, an all-black strip that is set to be used in the 2025/26 season for the first time in a decade, has received a wave of praise from the Lilywhite faithful, as many supporters love the clean and modern look.
Spurs are also expected to release a third kit, though it has not yet been officially announced. Rumours suggest the kit will have a yellow base, featuring the retro Tottenham badge placed centrally on the shirt.
Tottenham fans react to yellow third kit with retro badge
Spurs fans have now made their feelings clear about what they think of the club’s proposed new kit, with many stating they love it, while others are not big fans.
One supporter said: “It is a 10/10 for the retro badge alone. Should bring this back on all shirts!” Another stated: “Beautiful.” One more added: “Probably better than the home kit but not as good as the away kit.”
Others were not quite as impressed, saying: “Horrible.” Another added: “Poor.” One fan commented: “Do not like the colour.” Another questioned: “Why central?”
When will the Spurs yellow third kit be released?
The exact release date for the new Tottenham third kit remains unconfirmed; however, if previous seasons are anything to go by, it is likely to be unveiled either in late August or early September.
The 2024/25 third kit was launched on 27 August, while the 2023/24 edition went on sale on 1 September, having been worn for the first time just a few days earlier on 29 August.
Given those patterns, it is reasonable to expect this season’s third kit to arrive in August, or at the very latest, by mid-September.
