Welcome to DFC Sammie McLeod
DFC is delighted to welcome midfielder Sammie McLeod to the Club!
Sammie started out at Maidstone United before joining Leicester City in 2017, featuring in their U-18 Academy side. For the 2018–19 season, he signed for Maldon & Tiptree scoring eight times in 28 appearances.
Sammie then signed a two-year deal with League Two club Colchester Utd, making his pro debut in 2020. Other spells since, have include Lewes and Worthing, while last season was spent at Sevenoaks.
Ady Pennock said: “Sammie is a very good footballer with an unbelievable engine. “He’s technically very good and still only 25. We are very pleased to get him on board and look forward to working with him during the season.”
