Thomas Frank has already met two Tottenham players at Hotspur Way
Thomas Frank reported to Hotspur Way for the first time this week as the new Tottenham head coach and the club’s cameras followed the Dane around the training ground and captured his first interaction with James Maddison and Radu Dragusin.
Tottenham fans were waiting for nearly a week to hear from the new Spurs boss and they finally did so on Wednesday, with Frank giving his first interview to the club’s official channel.
The Dane’s first words have been received very positively by the Tottenham faithful, who are excited about the new era under the 51-year-old.
However, the former Brentford boss faces a challenge in winning over the squad, with some Tottenham players thought to be angered by the sacking of Ange Postecoglou.

James Maddison and Radu Dragusin are both on the mend from injuries, which is why they were at the Hotspur Way gym.
Thomas Frank and new Tottenham CEO Vinai Venkatesham met the attacking midfielder and the centre-back, and their interaction has been shared on the club’s social media platform.
Here is the transcript of the Spurs head coach’s conversation with Maddison:
Frank: “Good to see you, how are you? Working hard?”
Maddison: “Yes. A little break with the family. Then I had a checkup with the specialist yesterday.”
Frank: “Everything okay?”
Maddison: “Yeah, it was good. Positive to be fair.”
The brief interaction Thomas Frank had with Tottenham defender Radu Dragusin:
Dragusin: “Good morning, Gaffer.”
Frank: “Nice to meet you.”
Dragusin: “Nice to meet you, too.”
Frank: “How are you?”
Dragusin: “All good.”
Frank: “On track?”
Dragusin: “Yeah, yeah.”

Frank has confessed to being a fan of James Maddison
In his first interview on the club’s channel, Frank names Maddison as one of three senior players he is excited to work with, which suggests that we will see the England international have a key role under the Dane.
Dominic Solanke and Rodrigo Bentancur were the other two players that Frank name-checked, with the 51-year-old remarking that he is sure Solanke will get a lot of goals for the Lilywhites.
He also admitted that he is looking forward to getting the best out of Tottenham’s young talents such as Lucas Bergvall, Archie Gray, Wilson Odobert and Destiny Udogie.
According to reports, Frank tried desperately to take Gray to Brentford before Tottenham won the race for the teenager last summer.
