He bagged only five goals and four assists, raising questions over his consistency.

United are desperate to offload Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford, and Antony as they aim to trim their bloated wage bill.

They would have proposed a deal to West Ham with one of these out-of-favour stars.

Mbeumo is United’s priority target and the club should do everything to bring him to Old Trafford.

He could form a dream partnership with Cunha and support potentially a new striker.
