Raith Rovers Football Club is excited to announce the signing of Richard Chin, who joins the club on a two-year deal following a standout campaign with Farnborough.
The 22-year-old wide player arrives at Stark’s Park with a growing reputation, having impressed with his versatility and energy across both defence and midfield.
Equally comfortable at full-back or in a more advanced role, Richard provides a dynamic option on either flank.
A graduate of Charlton Athletic’s Academy, where he signed his first professional contract and made his League One debut, Richard brings a mix of technical quality, physicality, and valuable experience from England’s lower leagues.
His recent spell at Farnborough saw him rack up 42 appearances, seven goals and six assists, underlining his attacking contribution and consistency.
Richard has also enjoyed productive loan spells at Dartford and Bath City, and his adaptability has made him a key player at every Club he’s represented.
English-born but of Malaysian and Seychellois heritage, Richard has become the first ever Malaysian Raith Rovers player.
He now makes the step north to Kirkcaldy, becoming another strong addition to Barry Robson’s squad ahead of the 2025/26 season.
