Burnley Expected To Contact Club Over Deal Soon

The expectation is that Burnley will soon make contact with a club over snapping up their left-back, who the Clarets are keen on, and is available.
Scott Parker formed a very tight defence in the Championship last season and that solidity was key to Burnley winning promotion to the Premier League.
They conceded just 16 goals in the Championship, but Parker is still looking to improve his backline and that search has led him to the Netherlands.
Burnley are interested in Feyenoord left-back Quilindschy Hartman, who has caught Parker’s eye.
They have not yet approached Feyenoord about Hartman, according to Dutch magazine Voetbal International, but are expected to do so soon.
The defender has entered the final year of his contract at De Kuip and does not want to extend his deal with Feyenoord.
That means the Dutch giants could well sell him in the coming weeks and months.
Hartman returned from a cruciate ligament injury, but was rotated in and out of the side by Robin van Persie, something he was unhappy with.
Prior to his injury, Chelsea showed interest in him.
The 23-year-old left-back is a product of Feyenoord’s highly rated youth set-up and has also played for the Netherlands at international level.
It is unclear how much Burnley might have to offer to get their hands on Hartman this summer, but with Feyenoord willing to do business, there does appear to be a deal to be done.
Hartman has played for Feyenoord in the Champions League, while he won the Eredivisie title under current Liverpool boss Arne Slot.
The Clarets have just lost CJ Egan-Riley, who is Marseille bound.
