Wolves are not holding out for a permanent offer for Sasa Kalajdzic and they think a loan move could be beneficial for the forward, according to the Daily Express.

The 27-year-old centre forward joined Wolves from Bundesliga club Stuttgart in the summer of 2022, but since arriving, he has featured on just 14 occasions for the Midlands outfit.

Kalajdzic headed back to the Bundesliga to sign for Eintracht Frankfurt on loan during the winter of 2024, but he suffered a ligament injury, which kept him out of action for 14 months.

The Wolves star missed the entirety of last season due to the injury and he has recently returned to the training ground.

Vitor Periera’s side are preparing for the upcoming season and the 27-year-old forward will have to prove himself to over the course of pre-season if he wants to force his way into the Portuguese’s team.

Kalajdzic has suitors in the market and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Besiktas, Werder Bremen and Espanyol have been linked with being interested in taking him on loan next season.

It has been claimed that Wolves will consider a suitable loan offer this summer as they are not set on holding out for a permanent sale.

Sasa Kalajdzic’s career history

Wolves think that the Austrian centre forward could benefit from a loan spell away from Molineux, where he would be able to feature regularly.

The Premier League outfit recently lost Matheus Cunha to Manchester United and it is suggested that Kalajdzic staying with the club and fighting for a spot is not ruled out.

He spent three seasons with Stuttgart before making a move to Wolves, where he featured 60 times for them while making 36 goal contributions for the team.
