Bruins’ David Pastrnak Named To NHL’s Second All-Star Team

Boston Bruins forward David Pastrnak was selected to the 2024-25 NHL Second All-Star Team, the team announced on X on Thursday.

Pastrnak played in all of the Bruins’ 82 games, scoring 43 goals and 63 assists for 106 points. His 106 points were tied for the third-most in the NHL with the Edmonton Oilers’ Leon Draisaitl. The forward also led the NHL with 83 even-strength points.

The 29-year-old led Boston in goals, assists, points, power play goals, power play points and shots this year.

In total, across 11 seasons, Pastrnak has skated in 756 career games with the Bruins, scoring 391 goals and 442 assists for a total of 833 points. He became just the third Bruins player in franchise history to record three straight 100-point seasons, joining Boston legends Bobby Orr and Phil Esposito.

This is his second straight year taking home the Second All-Star Team honor, being named to the First Team in 2020 and 2023.

While Boston’s season is over, the honor gives the Bruins a boost heading into the offseason.
