Shamrock Rovers: Match Night Guide

0 7

City will welcome the largest crowd of the season tonight with the visit of Shamrock Rovers to the Ryan McBride Brandywell.

In order to make your night as enjoyable as possible – we have put together the following guide.  With the largest crowd expected, please arrive in plenty of time!

Travelling to the ground

  • Please be considerate of our neighbours in the areas – with larger crowds, parking spaces will be at a premium, but please be mindful of those that live in the area and do not block drives or houses
  • There is car parking available in the Long Tower Youth Club, but this tends to fill quickly, so if you want a spot – please make sure and arrive early.

Entry to the ground – Video

  • If you are seated in the North Stand or the Southend Stand – please use turnstiles on the corner of Brandywell Road and Southend Road
  • If you are seated in the Mark Farren Stand, or hold a Terrace ticket – you can enter by Gate 19 which is at the top of the car park, or from the turnstiles on the Lone Moor Road
  • Away fans and those on the guest list only will be admitted through Gate 9

Ticket Scanning

  • Please have your ticket out and ready to scan – if you ticket is digital, please make sure your screen is unlocked and the brightness is set pretty high – to allow for easier scanning

Tickets

  • Tickets in Southend Stand and Mark Farren are dedicated seating – please sit in the seat allocated on your tickets.  A high % of the seats are held by season ticket holders and you may be asked to move if you are not in your dedicated seat
  • Match Night Tickets in the North Stand are unallocated in most blocks.  If you want to get a specific seat, we would advise arriving early!

Food and Beverage

  • There will be foot and beverage outlets available on both sides of the ground – with tea/coffee and hot food options
  • The bar in the Mark Farren Stand will also be open from 19:00 for those that

Merchandise Shop

  • Club Merchandise is available from the outlet on the Lone Moor Road – please note that there is no access from the the Southend Stand side of the ground.  The shop is easy to access from the Mark Farren and North Stand – if you are seated in the Southend Stand, you will need to come around via the North Stand in order to access the shop.  The shop is open from 7pm and at half time.

If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact your nearest Steward who will be wearing a high vis jacket.  They should be able to help, or if they cannot, they can direct you to someone who can!

Most of all, whether this your first game at Brandywell or you’ve been going since we were in the Irish League, enjoy your night.  Get behind the team – it’s a top of the table clash after all!
