New U18 and U23 managers announced

Newhaven Football Club are pleased to announce the management and coaching set-ups for our Men’s Under-18s and league-winning Under-23s for the new 2025/26 season.

Following a successful 2024/25 campaign under Clive Blunt – including a final day victory to win the SCFL U23 East Division and runners-up to treble winners Hassocks in the League Cup – our Under-23s will head in to the new season with Mike Baker as their new manager.

Baker (pictured above), formerly with Peacehaven, Hailsham Town and Haywards Heath Town, will be joined in the dugout by Assistant Manager Callum Blunt, Coach Kyle Richardson and Physio Brian Henderson.

There is also change for the Under-18s – after a solid season in the SCFL U18 East Division and reaching the semi-finals of the League Cup – as Steve Howard (pictured below) takes over as Manager, bringing in Kurtis Lee as his Assistant. Richardson (Coach) and Henderson (Physio) will also remain with the Under-18s.

Your first chance to meet the new managers will come next week in the form of Open Training sessions at Fort Road:
