CLASS OF 2024-25 | TO THE FANS
The matchday programme for our Playoff Final against Dover Athletic featured messages from the Dartford players to our supporters. For those who missed them, here are those messages:
Josh Hill:
“I just want to say a big thank you. The support has been magnificent, both home and away all season. It has played a huge role in getting us to where we’ve got to. The management and players are desperate to bring National League football back to Princes Park next season, so I really hope we can get over the line for you!”
Jacob Marsden:
“Dear Dartford fans — thank you. Your support, from August 10th, home and away, every weekend, has been nothing short of incredible. All the songs and celebrations making a deafening noise, supportive messages online, or a word after the match genuinely means more than you know. This is a special football club, which you are the biggest part of. I hope you can see we’re giving everything we possibly have for the badge on our shirts to make you proud, and with you behind us until the last minute, I truly believe we can achieve something great together. Let’s do this!”
Sam Odaudu:
“You make every game something to look forward to as players and we have the privilege to play infront of you all every weekend. You’re all very much appreciated, I hope for the last couple of games you can show up in your numbers like you have done all season and let’s do something special.”
Callum Jones:
“My message for you Darts fans would be to keep supporting us for these last few games. The support this season has been incredible and definitely doesn’t go unnoticed. Home games have been a great atmosphere and away has felt like home games for us, with the constant singing and support! So thank you and, hopefully, we can all celebrate soon with promotion!”
Olly Box:
“Please keep coming down to the games in numbers. Your support has been amazing throughout the ups and downs and, with your support, we will finish the season strong and hopefully win the league. UP THE DARTS!”
Samir Carruthers:
“Personally, I would like to thank the fans for being there for us all season, and for trusting the process. We know this club should not be in this division, and we’re trying everything possible to get out of it. We’re working hard every day and doing our all in every game. Hopefully we’ll all be celebrating a promotion come the end of the season. UPTD”
Eddie Dsane:
“Dartford fans you’ve been great all season! Please keep supporting us in big numbers and pushing us on.”
Luther Williams:
“I would just like to say to the fans that you’ve been amazing throughout the season, home and away. It seems that every game all I can hear is our fans drowning out the opposition fans. Earlier on in the season I said our goal was to get Dartford back to where the club belongs and that’s still our goal. You will be massive for the final games of the season, so just keep doing what you’re doing and hopefully we can reward you all!”
Jeremiah Pinder:
“Thanks for sticking with us all season, both home and away. We cannot thank you enough for all your support. UP THE DARTS!!”
George Whitefield:
“Thank you everyone for all your support throughout the season, it means a lot. Please continue to come down in numbers because, you’re all so important.”
Tyler Christian-Law:
“You fans have been great home and away, every week. You’re our twelfth man. And in return, us players will do all we can to get over the line and take Dartford back to where they belong. The atmosphere against the recent Folkestone game was electric, and really played a huge part in us clawing the game back for a draw. So, thank you! We want and need all your support for the last home game, just as it has been all season.”
Denzelle Olopade:
“A message to the fans… I really appreciate that you stuck with us and have stayed with us for this whole journey. You’ve been with us through the highs and the lows. I can’t wait for you to be there when we win promotion, God willing. See you on matchday.”
Michael Olarewaju:
“It’s been a really good ride. You fans are our twelfth man, and I mean that in every sense. When you get behind us and you’re cheering us on, and it’s crazy in the stands, the kids and adults alike, it makes the Saturdays worthwhile. I know it’s not free. I know you’ve got to give up your time, money, and your energy by cheering and shouting. But it makes a huge difference. It’s what spurs us on. We look to you to help us, to lift us up. What you Dartford fans offer us group of players is invaluable, so keep it going. Thank you for all your support. It’s extremely, extremely valued, and we’re thankful.”
Samuel Okoye:
“First off, I would like to thank my Lord and saviour Jesus Christ for the opportunity to fight and play for this lovely club. If you never take a chance, you never had a chance, and we’ve tried to take every single one. We are still taking it one game at a time. However, we hope to give you the cherry on top, it is the least of what you all deserve. You have pushed us and supported us through the ups and downs, away games as well as home. The boys and the staff appreciate you all dearly. We will continue to pursue our end goal and, regardless of the outcome, the love we all have for you is unconditional.”
Duane Ofori-Acheampong:
“I’m really gutted that I haven’t been able to be out on the pitch as much as I would have liked. However for me, you fans are a massive part of this club. I have always had a great connection with many of you. The atmosphere you can generate is amazing, and you’ve been massive in helping us this season. Thank you for supporting the team this season. For those fans who have messaged me privately, you know who you are, thank you. I’ll be back stronger than ever. I hope you get to see me at my best in the future.”
Hayden Bullas:
“Dartford fans you have been superb and have been our twelfth man. We need you more than anything now, as we push these last few games. Keep bringing that same energy and let’s get this promotion!”
Louis Dunne:
“You fans have been excellent. Ever since my debut away at Hastings United, I knew I was at a very good club. You literally will the ball to go into the net! I can’t thank you enough, please continue to support us because, we need you.”
