We travel to the SMiSA Stadium for our final away game of the season – with everything still to play for! Read the match preview below.

Fixtures

  • St. Mirren Vs. Hibernian - Wed, May 14th 2025, 19:45

THE LOWDOWN

It is a massive week for David Gray’s Hibees who travel to Paisley to play St Mirren before hosting Rangers on the final day of the season.

There is plenty to play for with all three European spots still to be determined, with Aberdeen, Dundee United, St Mirren and Hibs all still in the hunt.

The Hibees can secure third spot on Wednesday night if we better Aberdeen’s result. We are currently three points clear of the Dons going into this fixture – with Jimmy Thelin’s side hosting Celtic at Pittodrie on Wednesday.

Since the split, we have picked up three points – losing away at Celtic and Aberdeen, but picking up an important three points against Dundee United at Easter Road.

TEAM NEWS

David Gray will be without Rudi Molotnikov and Joe Newell who are both out for the remainder of the season.

Hyeokkyu Kwon is available for selection after he was ineligible to play against his parent club (Celtic) last weekend.

THE HOSTS

After sneaking into the top six on the final day of the regular season, St Mirren have been in excellent form. The Buddies have taken seven points from a possible nine in their first three post-split matches, drawing with Rangers (2-2) before beating Aberdeen (1-0) and winning away at Dundee United (0-2).

In fact, Stephen Robinson’s side are unbeaten in their last seven gameswinning five of those matches.

We have played St Mirren three times already this season and they are the only team in the league that we haven’t beaten in 2024/25.

We lost our first two matches against St Mirren this season, before picking up a point on our last visit to The SMiSA Stadium – drawing 0-0 in February.
