NESN Unveils 2025 Red Sox Programming Lineup with Expanded Access, New Fan Experience
NESN, New England’s premier sports network, on Thursday announced a dynamic programming slate for the 2025 Red Sox season, which is designed to bring fans even closer to the action.
The schedule includes the debut of “Red Sox Batting Practice Live,” which will run 16 times this season beginning Wednesday, May 7, and the addition of two alternate broadcasts: “Unobstructed Views presented by Blue Moon,” which will run alongside 14 games beginning Tuesday, May 6, and “NESN Multiview,” which will run for 11 games beginning Wednesday, May 7.

Red Sox Batting Practice Live
NESN is introducing “Red Sox Batting Practice Live,” which will provide fans additional pre-game access via analyst commentary, on-field interviews with players and coaches, and more. Available on NESN 360, the program will be hosted by a rotation of NESN talent, including George Balekji, Kasey Hudson, Adam Pellerin and Travis Thomas. “Batting Practice Live” will run 16 times this season, ahead of all but one homestand, and premieres Wednesday, May 7 at 4 p.m. ET against the Texas Rangers.
NESN Unobstructed Views presented by Blue Moon
“Unobstructed Views presented by Blue Moon” returns for a second season with new personalities and the same bold, insider-driven look at the game. Led by sports journalist Alanna Rizzo, the program will feature Jared Carrabis and former Red Sox pitcher Jonathan Papelbon as co-hosts, as well as a rotating cast of guests who provide fun commentary, sharp analysis and unfiltered reactions. The show premieres Tuesday, May 6 at 6:45 p.m. on NESN+ and NESN 360 and will run alongside 14 games this season.

NESN Multiview
“NESN Multiview” has been added to the programming slate for the Red Sox season, offering fans a dynamic way to watch different elements of the game at the same time. The alternate telecasts will feature multiple camera angles and the main telecast play-by-play and color game audio, bringing fans closer to the action on the field. The alt-cast premieres Wednesday, May 7 at 6:45 p.m. on NESN+ and NESN 360, and will run alongside 11 games throughout the season.
