‘Done Deal’ - Journalist claims player has signed 5-yr deal to join Man Utd

0 5

Le Havre striker Enzo Kana-Biyik has signed a five-year contract with Manchester United, according to German journalist Christopher Michel.

The Red Devils saw off competition from Chelsea, AS Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain for the services of the teenage sensation, and an official confirmation could be on the way very soon from the look of things.

The 18-year-old Franco-Cameroonian is joining Man United on a free transfer this summer as he is out of contract at the end of the season, and the decision-makers at the Old Trafford club will hope he turns out to be a Premier League star.

The 6ft Kana-Biyik is highly rated in France, and PSG were desperate to land him even though he has yet to make his senior debut.

He has been regularly involved in first-team training sessions with Le Havre and has made the matchday squad once, and he will look to catch the attention of Man United head coach Ruben Amorim in the summer.

The Red Devils need attacking firepower in the first-team next season, and Kana-Biyik could be given opportunities to impress if he can prove himself with the youth teams and in training sessions with the senior squad.

Rasmus Hojlund is under immense pressure to prove his quality before the end of the season having been constantly linked with a summer exit, and the Denmark international will be desperate to get on the score sheet in the first-leg of the Europa League semi-finals against Athletic Bilbao tonight.

Man United have Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap on their radar while a deal for Wolverhampton Wanderers attacker Matheus Cunha is expected to be sealed in the summer.

Kana-Biyik is one for the future and landing him for free could end up saving the club millions in the coming seasons if he proves to be a success story in one of the biggest clubs on the planet.
