Tottenham’s pursuit of Inter Milan centre-back Yann Bisseck just got a lot harder as a fresh report from Italy claims that one of Spurs’ Premier League rivals are now ready to spend big to bring the player to England.
If reports in the Spanish and British press over the last couple of weeks are to be believed, Cristian Romero is expected to depart Tottenham this summer amidst interest from Atletico Madrid.
It appears Spurs have thus begun looking for possible replacements for the Argentine as the summer transfer window draws closer.
It emerged a couple of days ago that Tottenham have set their sights on Inter Milan centre-back Yann Bisseck, who is expected to be on the move from the San Siro this summer.

However, it turns out that Tottenham Hotspur will have their work cut out to sign Yann Bisseck as Man United have now entered the race for the defender.
This update comes from Inter Live, who say that the Nerazzurri are expecting a ‘mega offer’ to arrive from Old Trafford for Bisseck.
The report claims that Ruben Amorim’s men are plotting a major summer rebuild, with the German part of their plans to upgrade their defence.
The Red Devils are allegedly willing to put €60m (£51.4m) on the table to take the Inter man to Old Trafford this summer.
Inter Milan’s stance on selling Bisseck revealed
Inter Live say in this update that the Serie A club’s CEO Giuseppe Marotta is ‘prepared to evaluate’ any offers that come their way for the centre-back.
However, it was previously reported that Inter will not entertain offers for Bisseck in the early weeks of the summer window.
This is because Simone Inzaghi’s side want the German international to be part of their Club World Cup campaign until July 13th.
