New Reported Intel On Super Weird Bill Belichick Interview
Jordon Hudson continues to make her presence felt — and then some — in the latest chapter of Bill Belichick’s coaching life.
Belichick recently sat down with Tony Dokoupil of “CBS Mornings” for a 1-on-1 interview to promote his new book, “The Art of Winning.” After making very awkward remarks about Patriots owner Robert Kraft and his New England exit, Belichick was asked how he met Hudson, his 24-year-old girlfriend.
Hudson, who was sitting off to the side, stepped in and made it clear that the question was off-limits. And according to Pro Football Talk, that wasn’t the only time Hudson chimed during the interview.
“It wasn’t, we’re told, the only time she interjected,” Mike Florio wrote in a column published Sunday. “While we don’t know the total number of interruptions, it’s our understanding that CBS decided to include that one specific instance because it wasn’t a one-time thing.”
Hudson’s reported oversight of the interview was pretty bizarre. For starters, Belichick has never needed someone to help him stay tight-lipped when he meets with the media. Furthermore, it offered eyebrow-raising insight into Hudson’s level of involvement in the 73-year-old’s post-Patriots life.
Thus, it’s probably fair to assume Sunday wasn’t the last time Hudson and Belichick will grab attention for something other than a silly Instagram post.
