Yeah, I wish him the best.
Maybe some of the signings he made are a bit underwhelming in terms of upside but they can all be on the pitch in a Premier League match without completing sabotaging the team. Sadly, that’s enough to make them good by the standards set by Moshiri and the managers and other directors of football he hired.
He clearly understands player value and the importance of age profiles. Rock solid as someone overseeing your club, I think he’ll continue to do well.
I understand that Moyes is hands-on in pretty much all aspects of running a club (and also that he’s quite good at it) but I worry that we will once again be left without a succession plan when he’s done. A bit disappointed to see this role disappear with Thelwell.
