Red Sox Vs. Mariners Lineups: Triston Casas Rewarded After Homer
The Red Sox will look to secure a third consecutive series victory on Wednesday, as they’ll play the second of a trio with the Seattle Mariners at Fenway Park.
Triston Casas will also look to build on a big night, hoping his home run from the series-opening victory will be enough the bust through his recent slump.
Red Sox manager Alex Cora is hoping for the same, sliding the big left-hander up in the order by one spot. Wilyer Abreu and Trevor Story will also move, swapping places so the former can clean things up. Romy González and Blake Sabol will also be reinserted into the lineup, batting behind Casas.
Ceddanne Rafaela will hold onto his spot at the end of the order after a wonderful day at the dish (2-for-3, walk) on Tuesday.
The Sox and Mariners are scheduled to take the field at 6:45 p.m. ET, following an hour of pregame coverage on NESN.
