How much Tottenham are willing to bid for Antoine Semenyo this summer

0 3

Tottenham are prepared to splash the cash to land Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo this summer, with the in-form forward said to be open to a switch to north London.

Given how well Bournemouth have performed in the Premier League this season, it’s no surprise that a few of their standout players are attracting interest from top clubs.

Tottenham have already been linked with their head coach Andoni Iraola, who’s done a brilliant job transforming the Cherries into one of the league’s most dangerous sides, with the Cherries still in the mix for European football.

Now, Antoine Semenyo has emerged as another potential target. The 25-year-old has been electric this season, chipping in with eight goals and four assists in the league from wide areas.

Tottenham willing to pay £50m for Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo

According to fresh reports from Fichajes, Tottenham are said to be willing to pay up to £50m to sign Antoine Semenyo this summer as they look to strengthen out wide.

With Timo Werner set to return to RB Leipzig following an underwhelming loan spell, Spurs are expected to be short in attacking options on the flanks.

Mathys Tel also remains an uncertain case, with no final decision made regarding his potential buy option.

Should the Frenchman return to Bayern Munich, Tottenham would be left needing further depth in the wide forward position.

Semenyo’s versatility makes him a smart fit for Spurs

Antoine Semenyo’s ability to operate on both flanks would give Tottenham some much-needed flexibility in attack, especially under a manager like Ange Postecoglou who values high-energy wingers.

While the Ghanaian only recently signed a new deal with Bournemouth, keeping him at the Vitality Stadium until 2028, the chance to step up and play regularly at a higher level is said to appeal to the Ghana international, who is open to a move.

Bournemouth are aware of the growing interest and could be willing to negotiate for the right price – although it’s believed they’d want more than the £65m Spurs paid for Dominic Solanke last summer.
