Not Chido Obi: Amorim could hand senior debut to three academy stars vs Wolves, including one 'top talent'

Manchester United will welcome Wolverhampton Wanderers to Old Trafford in the Premier League tomorrow.

United head coach Ruben Amorim has already admitted that he will prioritise the Europa League over the Premier League for the remainder of the campaign.

Following a thrilling 5-4 midweek victory over Lyon, Amorim is expected to rotate heavily and hand the keys to United’s next generation.

Chido Obi and Harry Amass, both of whom have recently made their senior debuts, could be trusted to step up again from the start.

They could be named in the starting XI against Wolves.

We believe Amorim could hand debuts to three more academy stars.

Godwill Kukonki, Jack Moorhouse and Jaydan Kamason have been part of the matchday squads but are yet to feature at the senior level.

With uncertainty around Ayden Heaven’s return, Kukonki could be deployed in the left centre-back spot.

Amorim admitted earlier that he has already been “impressed” with the 17-year-old and considers him a “top talent“.

The Portuguese head coach revealed that his players were tired after playing 120 minutes against Lyon.

Diogo Dalot, who has been a tireless presence all season, is expected to get a well-earned break.

That opens the door wide for Jaydan Kamason, a flying full-back whose performances at youth level have turned heads.

The young full-back has been in fantastic form for the development teams this season.

Moorhouse is one of the most talented players in United’s academy set-up.

The midfielder is known for his superb ball-carrying ability and elite close control.

Regarded as one of the jewels of the academy, Moorhouse could use this opportunity as a springboard towards stardom.

It would not be easy for the youngsters, but these are the moments that make them believe they are made for the biggest stage.
