Loyal fans lead DFC Women’s side out onto pitch

0 20

DFC Women took some of their side’s most loyal supporters and volunteers onto the pitch before their friendly last weekend.

With a week off from their busy league and cup schedule, a friendly was arranged against Billericay, with Amina Hanif, the side’s new International from Pakistan, making her first start.

Not only did the Women’s side win 3-2, but they were led onto the pitch by a host of fans who have followed them throughout their exciting journey.

These included staunch supporter Sue, from Sunflower Café of Dartford’s Priory Centre.

A bumper few weeks await the side, with two cup finals – and two home league title deciders, against Saltdean and Fulham, on the cards.

Next up is Saltdean, who come to Princes Park this Sunday, with a 1:30pm K.O.

Please support the Women’s side as they aim to make history this season!
