Projected Lines, Defensive Pairings For Bruins-Blackhawks Matchup

The Bruins play their penultimate home game when they take on the Chicago Blackhawks at TD Garden on Thursday.

Boston is coming off a dominant 7-2 win over the New Jersey Devils at Prudential Center. David Pastrnak went over 100 points in the season and continued his historic run. Tuesday’s win helped the B’s win two of their last three games, and they’ll look to continue to finish the season strong Thursday night.

Interim head coach Joe Sacco confirmed Riley Duran would be in the lineup. He also confirmed that neither Mark Kastelic nor Charlie McAvoy would return for the rest of the season. A decision has not been made on which forward will be scratched, but Jakub Lauko is a candidate.

Nikita Zadorov is a game-time decision due to a family matter. Ian Mitchell would slot into the lineup if the defenseman can’t suit up on Thursday.

Puck drop for the Bruins-Blackhawks matchup is scheduled at 7 p.m. ET, and you can catch full coverage on NESN after an hour of pregame.
