relegation and rebuild (15 replies)
For quite a few years i'd hear someone say I wouldn't mind getting relegated so we can rebuild. I would always think nah madness.
Obviously this has actually worked with us though it is in a large part due to our ability to spend and the fact we have picked out an underated gem of a manager.
However, we spent that money pretty wisely and we managed to create a team that has that spirit and cohesiveness I remember from the early 2000s. I know its weaker opponents but we play some great stuff.
I dont want to speculate on next season but there is a part of me that thinks we only need to add a few new faces because the core seems championship quality.
More importantly we've gone back up, lets win the cup then... you know the rest
