HE’S a multi-championship winning WWE icon who has spent a decade on the roster.

And ahead of last night’s RAW event live at London‘s O2 arena, the 40-year-old Canadian chose to soak up a different kind of sporting action.

Footy fans at a League One clash between Leyton Orient and Stevenage couldn’t believe their eyes when they spotted Kevin Owens in the crowd.

A two-time WrestleMania headliner, Owens is a fan favourite and one of the promotion’s biggest names.

The former Universal and United States champion stood out from the crowd in a bright pink Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart jacket and had his trademark bushy beard.

After the game, which the home side won 1-0, he made his way onto the pitch for an interview.

One person wrote in the Wrestling Travel Facebook group: “How cool would that have been to see?”

Another said: “Hoping for a powerbomb of a shot into the top corner.”

The veteran is always box office and has had a storied career both in and out of the ropes.

He famously called out Hollywood actor Matthew McConaughey in 2022 after being defeated in the WrestleMania main event by Stone Cold Steve Austin.

He said at the time: “If we’re speaking things into existence — WrestleMania 39, come at me McConaughey.

“I’m gonna f*** you up.”

A year previously he suffered serious injuries after being hurled off the ThunderDome set by Roman Reigns and Jey Uso.

A WWE statement said at the time: “After the attack by Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Jey Uso on Friday Night SmackDown, Kevin Owens was taken to a local medical facility where he was diagnosed with a spinal contusion and bruised kidneys.”

More recently he attacked Cody Rhodes in a car park in front of fans.

Rhodes, 39, competed in the main event at State Farm Arena in Georgia, teaming up with former foe Roman Reigns to beat Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu of The Bloodline.

But after picking up the win, he fell victim to a backstage assault from Owens who blindsided him and pummelled him with a series of punches as well as kicks.

Owens was later reprimanded by WWE boss Triple H behind the scenes.
