Charcyjohn_yukiMr Driscoll9 seasons with us. Over the last four, he's scored 13 goals across all competitions, around 3 goals per season. Juke comes across as a lovely fellah, but he's hardly a legend.
You don't have to be a top performer to be a legend. He captained us and stayed with us through the shit years. He's been nothing but a model professional. A bit of recognition in the form of a friendly in his name is a pretty minor thing, especially when you consider the club would benefit from it too through ticket, merch, and food/drink sales - or alternatively use the proceeds for the Blues Foundation.
This is a bit misty eyed. He stayed with us through the shit years as we paid him well to do so. Dong was at his stag do, so it can't have been that bad for him.
He's not a legend, he perhaps could have been had he left four years ago.
And his wedding…
