0 7

Tottenham loanee Josh Keeley’s latest performance saw him secure his 14th clean sheet of the season, further solidifying his reputation as one of the best shot-stoppers in League One.

Josh Keeley’s stock continues to rise during his loan spell at Leyton Orient. The young goalkeeper has been a standout performer for the League One side, consistently delivering solid displays between the sticks.

And it’s not just in the league where he’s impressed—his shot-stopping heroics have been evident across all competitions, including the FA Cup, where his penalty saves proved crucial and helped Orient get to the 4th round of the competition.

Of course, the young shot-stopper’s performances for Leyton Orient have only strengthened the belief that he is one of the most promising goalkeepers in Tottenham’s youth ranks. Keeley even received a solid 8.5/10 in our ratings of Spurs on loan stars.

Tottenham loanee Josh Keeley shows yet more heroics

His latest outing against Stevenage was yet another example of his growing influence. The 21-year-old put in a composed display, keeping his side in the game when it mattered most.

Late in the match, with Orient clinging to a slender 1-0 lead, Keeley pulled off two vital saves—moments that ultimately secured three massive points for his team and kept their play-off hopes very much alive.

Following his heroics on the day, the 21-year-old shot-stopper received applause from the fans and his teammates.

Keeley’s shutout against Stevenage took his clean sheet tally for the season to 14—a number that now places him firmly in the conversation among the best goalkeepers in League One this campaign.

Clean sheet tally puts Keeley in the mix for the Golden Glove

The Tottenham Hotspur loanee currently sits level with Wrexham’s Arthur Okonkwo in fourth place in the League One clean sheet rankings.

Above him, Stevenage’s Murphy Cooper has 16, while Birmingham City’s Ryan Allsop leads the way with 17 in 28 appearances.

With a few games left in the season, Keeley still has time to push for the Golden Glove. If he can keep this momentum going, reaching that milestone would be a huge achievement for the young Spurs star and further proof that he is on the right path towards a bright future.
