TheHeathI’m glad someone said this. Add in socialising. Going to the football. The odd takeaway, saving for birthdays, Christmas, holidays, then buying clothes, things for the house or garden, repairs to essential household items and the mot for car. Car parking charges, public transport costs. £90 a week doesn’t go far with all thatYour figures for other expenses are way out. My council tax is nearly double that and I’m
Only band b.
Utilities are also double that, throw in tv licence, home and buildings insurance plus internet, mobile phone and the luxuries of sky sports and Dazn.
My cats without a visit to the vets cost me £150 a month. Petrol £100 a month and trains to work £30 which is cheaper driving to selly oak than parking in town.
My car experience ended are £201 loan, £37 extended warranty band servicing and £61 insurance.
It’s a struggle for me on £50k but part f that is falling off the property ladder due to personal reasons in 2014 and not buying again to 2019.. I do my expect my Mrs to have a life changing illness in 2014 when nwe were in our 30s and suddenly have a massive black hole in our finances and I’m now working until 66 to pay off a mortgage on a sh*tty ex council house in West Heath that my neighbour pays half the rent t to the council.
