Not only is the full-back difficult to stop when he runs with the ball, but he has also proved an unpassable wall at the back, even against the best attackers in the Premier League.
In Spence’s latest appearance on Rio Ferdinand Presents, he was asked if Gabriel Martinelli could go past him, and this is how the Tottenham man responded:

Last month, it came to light that Spence achieved a feat that no other defender across the Premier League had this season.
It was revealed that the Tottenham man ranks among the top five players in the Premier League for dribble success rate across 2024/25.
Having attempted more than 40 dribbles at the time, Spence boasted an impressive 54.5% success rate, making him the highest-ranked defender on the list.
