U18s To Face Sunderland

Hibernian FC’s Under-18s side will play Sunderland in a friendly at the Hibernian Training Centre on Friday.

The game will at HTC will kick-off at 1.30pm tomorrow (Friday 21 March, 2025), and supporters can attend for free!

Darren McGregor’s youngsters have been in fine form this season currently sitting second in the CAS U18 Elite League, two points behind leaders Rangers.

They got off to a good post-split start last weekend as they beat St Mirren 6-1 at HTC, and were due to play the Gers this Friday, however, the game was postponed due to international call-ups for both sides.

To keep momentum going into the final games of the campaign, and to give our youngsters another new experience, they will now face Sunderland’s Under-18s side.

The young Black Cats are currently seventh in their U18 Premier League North league table. They are six places higher and 12 points better off than the Leeds United side our youngsters beat 4-0 at the end of February.
