Harry Redknapp delivers verdict on Ange Postecoglou’s struggles
With the pressure piling on Postecoglou, former Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has weighed in on the situation, admitting that things simply haven’t worked out for the Australian.
He believes Tottenham’s season now hinges entirely on their Europa League campaign, insisting Postecoglou has to win it.
Speaking to talkSPORT, Redknapp said: “When he got the job at the start, I was pulling for Ange. I said I thought he would be the man for the job. You know, I liked what I had seen of him.
“I thought he’d be great. It just hasn’t worked out. They’ve had injuries, you know, and whatever. It’s been a poor season, we have to be truthful, and it’s all reliant now on winning this competition, which I feel they should win.”
