Projected Lines, Defensive Pairings For Bruins-Sabres Matchup

The Bruins will try to halt their losing streak Monday when they host the Sabres.

Boston will be looking to bounce back after consecutive poor efforts in which it allowed six goals to both the Ottawa Senators and the Tampa Bay Lightning. Such an output is unlikely to come from a Buffalo side that entered Monday with the fourth-fewest points in the entire NHL.

The St. Patrick’s Day showdown will mark the third meeting between the division foes, who currently occupy the last two spots in the Atlantic. The rivals have split the season series, but Buffalo came out on top in the most recent collision Jan. 28.

Here are the projected lines and defensive pairings for Monday’s Sabres-Bruins game:

BRUINS (30-30-8)
Morgan Geekie — Pavel Zacha — David Pastrnak
Cole Koepke — Casey Mittelstadt — Vinni Lettieri
Marat Khusnutdinov — Elias Lindholm — Jakub Lauko

SABRES (26-33-6)

Brett Murray — Peyton Krebs — Jack Quinn
