Richarlison makes big transfer decision that narrows Tottenham’s options

Brazilian journalist Jorge Nicola has revealed that Richarlison has already made up his mind about his next destination as rumours circulate about the growing interest in the Tottenham man’s services.

With the arrival of Mathys Tel in January, there appears to be a major question mark on Richarlison’s future at the club, with the striker once again being riddled with injuries throughout the campaign.

When Richarlison was spotted at Brazilian club, Palmeiras, last week, that led to speculation regarding the Tottenham striker possibly ending up back in his home country this summer.

Over recent days, we have also heard reports that the Tottenham striker is on Everton’s radar, with the Toffees allegedly plotting a move to re-sign him this summer.

Richarlison wants to stay in the Premier League

Jorge Nicola, who is usually the first to break news regarding many Brazilian players, has now weighed in on the Richarlison transfer saga, revealing what he heard about the forward.

The journalist ruled out the possibility of the 27-year-old joining Palmeiras, explaining that the Selecao star has already made his mind up to remain in the Premier League.

Nicola has said on his YouTube channel: “Richarlison remains convinced that he needs to stay in the Premier League and, to top it all off, Palmeiras is no longer looking for a centre forward.”

How much do Tottenham want for Richarlison?

If Tottenham do cash in on the Brazil international, it appears clear that they would have to accept a loss on the player, given that they spent £60m to sign him back in 2022.

It emerged a few days ago that Spurs are expected to demand around £40m for Richarlison if Everton or any other suitor comes knocking for their player this summer.

However, interestingly, the same update suggested that the Lilywhites may even be prepared to drop their price even lower towards the latter stages of the summer transfer window.
