BU Women Win Sixth Hockey East Championship In OT Comeback

Last Saturday, Boston University won their sixth Hockey East Championship over Northeastern University in an overtime comeback that ended on the stick of junior forward Sydney Healey. The BU Terriers now match the Northeastern Huskies with six women’s Hockey East titles each.

The Terriers played each of their three Hockey East tournament games into overtime, winning each one. The 3-2 overtime win is Boston University’s first title since 2015.
