HIGH-FLYING Falkirk come to the southside of Glasgow on March 15 – the Ides of March.

It’s a significant date in the ancient Gregorian calendar, and Shakespeare famously wrote it’s one to ‘beware’.

At Queen’s Park, we’re Scotland’s oldest and most historic club – but not to the point of rivalling the ancient Romans – and we’ll have a feast of football and food instead on the day the Bairns come to town.

They’ve sat on the Championship throne for much of this season and a great game is in store.

And a great day in our hospitality suite awaits too.

We’ve not re-invented the wheel with our pre-match warmth and welcome – but visitors have complemented our special service throughout the season, and in days gone by too.

The Black and White Lounge will host our pre-match banquet – three-courses and an inclusive drinks menu – plus entertainment from our compere Dave Mac.

Despite the date and it’s links to the Roman Empire, we can confirm our legendary lounge host WON’T don his toga – but he will help our award-winning hospitality staff welcome you to The city Stadium and enjoy another fantastic day out, beginning at 12.30pm with an exclusive behind the scenes tour of The city Stadium.

The match kicks off at 3pm and there’s half-time refreshments and hot drinks in our exclusive lounge at Hampden, then it’s back to the suite in the JB McAlpine Pavilion for the post-match presentations and Q&A.

Places can be booked for £90 per person plus VAT, though Queen’s Park members and season ticket holders benefit from a reduced rate of £80 per person plus VAT.

Email hospitality@queensparkfc.co.uk or call the club on 0141 632 1275.

The full day itinerary is as follows:

  • Exclusive Behind the Scenes Tour of The City Stadium.
  • Award winning three-course pre-match meal.
  • Inclusive drinks package – wine, selection of bottled beers, spirits and world-famous Tennent’s Lager on draught.
  • Table Service Throughout.
  • Pre-match Question and Answer session with a former Queen’s Park player and entertainment hosted by the legendary Dave Mac.
  • Escorted walk to the National Stadium at Hampden Park and executive padded seating in the South Stand.
  • Half-time pies and hot drinks in our exclusive lounge.
  • Return to the Black and White Lounge at the end of the game.
  • Post-match presentations & player interviews along with match sponsor awards.
