Tottenham fans rally behind Dele Alli as cult hero makes 735-day return

0 9

For the first time in a long while, Dele Alli has returned to the football pitch, and his return has brought a high level of excitement to Tottenham fans.

It has not been an easy few years for Dele Alli. Once a talisman for Tottenham Hotspur, the 28-year-old has endured a brutal spell of injuries and Dele has also bravely opened up on personal struggles that impacted him on and off the pitch.

However, despite his absence, Spurs fans have never stopped supporting him. A few days ago, Como manager Cesc Fabregas urged patience regarding Dele’s potential return to action.

The Spaniard made it clear that the midfielder was still working his way back to full fitness after yet another setback. That, however, did not dampen the excitement when his name reappeared on a Serie A team sheet.
