Midweek preview: Bassett host Raiders in another must-win

Royal Wootton Bassett Town face another must-win fixture against a fellow side in the top half of the Hellenic League Premier Division when Worcester Raiders visit the Sustain Stadium on Tuesday night (7.45pm kick off). Raiders are in the playoff race. However, while mathematically still possible, they need plenty of help - as well as to keep winning - in order to finish in the top five. Bassett's chances are better - but , after three derby victories in a row, they need to keep winning to keep their playoff hopes alive. Over the course of the five previous meetings between the teams, Raiders hold the upper hand with three wins compared to a single Bassett triumph. Raiders took the spoils when the teams met at the Sixways Stadium earlier this season, winning 2-1. They also recorded an empathic 4-0 victory on their visit to Bassett last season. Sam Collier's side will therefore be looking to avenge those losses too. Admission is £8 for adults, £5 for concessions and free for RWBTFC youth members.
