Red Sox Legend Wants Team USA Star In Bruins Uniform

BOSTON — The 4 Nations Face-Off championship game at TD Garden has not disappointed through three periods of play.

The USA and Canada have lit the lamp twice each, and after 60 minutes of nonstop action, the title bout is headed to sudden-death overtime.

The tournament has been so electric that athletes from other sports are tuning in to see which nation will win the 4 Nations trophy and gold medals.

Red Sox legend Jonathan Papelbon is one of those athletes.

“Born and raised in the south I have never watched hockey but I am now! Oh and the Tkachuk kid is a badass, he must be a @NHLBruins player!” Papelbon wrote on X. “Damn he isn’t a Bruin! Well (expletive) let’s get him to Boston.”

Papelbon is not the only person who thinks Brady Tkachuk would look great donning a Spoked-B across his chest. ESPN’s John Buccigross believes the Ottawa Senators captain thinks the younger Tkachuk brother should wear the Bruins’ black and gold.

“BRADY TKACHUK MUST BECOME A BRUIN,” he wrote on X.
