ENGLAND AND SWEDEN SENIOR TEAMS PREPARE FOR UEFA WOMEN’S NATION LEAGUE 2025 AT MARBELLA FOOTBALL CENTER
Marbella Football Center is once again consolidating its position as a key centre for the preparation of top level international matches. Its facilities will host England and Sweden, two of the top five women’s senior national teams, reaffirming its prestige in European football.
On the occasion of the first two days of the UEFA Women’s Nation League 2025, two of Marbella Football Center’s centres have been chosen by these two top national teams to carry out their training camps.
England, current world runners-up and number 4 team according to the FIFA ranking, will hold their training camp at our centre in Portugal, Pine Cliffs Resort Football Center Algarve. They will start on Monday 17 February and finish on 24 February.
Sweden, who finished as the third qualifier for the 2023 World Cup and are currently ranked 5th in the FIFA rankings, will hold their training camp from 17-20 February at Marbella Football Center.
The UEFA Women’s Nations League 2025 is the second edition of this international women’s football competition organised by UEFA for Europe’s senior national teams. The tournament will take place between February and December 2025.
In addition to crowning the champion, the results of this competition will influence the qualification of the teams for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifiers, establishing the leagues in which they will compete during that qualification process.
With the arrival of these two women’s teams, MFC once again positions itself as a centre of reference for women’s football at the highest level.
